Todo Tracker

IssuePit includes a personal Todo Tracker that helps you manage day-to-day tasks across all projects in one place.


Overview

The Todo Tracker is accessible via the Todos link in the sidebar. It provides:

  • A Board view — Kanban-style columns (Backlog, Todo, In Progress, Done)
  • A Weekly Calendar view — todos laid out by day of the week with drag-and-drop scheduling

Creating a Todo

  1. Navigate to Todos in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Todo.
  3. Fill in the details:
    • Title — a short description
    • Due Date (optional) — assign a day
    • Priority — Low, Medium, or High
  4. Click Save.

You can also create a todo directly from a calendar day slot by clicking on any empty cell in the weekly calendar.


Board View

The board view shows todos organised into columns by status. Drag and drop cards between columns to update their status instantly.


Weekly Calendar View

Switch to the Calendar tab to see a week-at-a-glance layout. Todos with a due date appear on the corresponding day. Drag a card to a different day to reschedule it.

Use the navigation arrows to move between weeks.


iCal Subscription

You can subscribe to your todos from any calendar application (Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) using the iCal feed:

  1. Go to Todos.
  2. Click the Subscribe (calendar icon) button.
  3. Copy the iCal URL and paste it into your calendar application as a new subscribed calendar.

The feed updates automatically as you create, reschedule, or complete todos.


MCP Support

The Todo Tracker exposes tools via the built-in IssuePit MCP server, so AI agents can read and create todos on your behalf. No extra configuration is needed — the MCP server is automatically linked to every agent mode.
